- Chris Tuchscherer and Brock Lesnar
Although new to the UFC and having his first fight with top contending Brazilian heavyweight Gabriel Gonzaga, Chris Tuchscherer is in no way over his head. Most heavyweights when entering the UFC’s Octogan don’t usually get shots at such top contenders such as Gabriel Gonzaga with the exception of Brock Lesnar but then again, Chris “The Crowbar” Tuchscherer is Lesnars main sparring partner and that makes him no joke.
But you may ask why am I so interested in a fight that wont be on the main card? My answer is simple considering who Gabriel Gonzaga last fought. Gonzaga got KO’ed by Brock Lesnars UFC 106 opponent Shane Carwin in the first round. This being said, it would be very interesting to see how Brock Lesnars main sparring partner approaches the big Brazilian Gonzaga compared to how Shane Carwin did. This fight although wont be on the main card is a very interesting fight because it will set up more questions for what will be the most important heavyweight fight this year in Brock Lesnar vs Shane Carwin.
Although I don’t usually predict under cards, this one interests me just because of my belief that Shane Carwin will be UFC heavyweight champ. I will predict that Chris “The Crowbar” Tuchscherer will def Gonzaga, most likely by ground and pound just like Lesnar. Both men are NCAA champs, Brock being division one and Tuchscherer being two time NCAA division 2 champ. Chris also has 18 pro MMA fights being 17-1 with a unanimous defeat to legendary Travis Wiuff.
I look foreward to this one
